Kassidy Sottilare, 27, made her first appearance in Palm Beach County court on Wednesday.

Boynton Beach police arrested the Palm Beach County School District’s JV cheer coach and Army veteran on two second-degree felony charges of transmitting sexually explicit content to a 14-year-old girl.

She formerly worked as a data processor at Palm Beach Virtual School and as an afterschool counselor in the Food Service Department at Coral Sunset Elementary School and Citrus Cove.

She faces charges of committing an act against a pupil and traveling to meet a child. Additionally, she was accused with driving on a suspended license.

The judge issued house arrest and a $35,000 bond in court. Additionally, Sotilare is barred from communicating with the victim or anybody under the age of 18, as well as from accessing the internet or social media.
