On Monday, a mural in Cleveland, Ohio, promoting the 2021 film “Space Jam: A New Legacy,” starring Ohio native LeBron James, was defaced.

Someone wrote “LaFlop” across the painting on the facade of a local shop, according to Akron police. On the former Cleveland Cavalier’s face, they also drew a clown nose.

When the NBA superstar departed the Cavaliers in 2010 to join the Miami Heat, he infuriated Ohioans. In 2014, he returned to the Cavs before joining the Los Angeles Lakers in 2018.
