Lyfe Jennings shared his experience on American Airlines. The legendary R&B singer released a video on social media, showing an encounter with a man who allegedly stopped Jennings while he was lining up in first class to board the plane.

The man, according to Jennings, was the second employee to repeatedly ask him if he was in the correct line because Jennings was standing in the first class line.

As he approached the boarding area, a man approached and asked Jennings whether there would be a “problem on the flight” because he had heard of a previous issue.

Being the lone Black individual in a procession of white folks and being repeatedly questioned by American Airlines staff was “f*cking embarrassing,” according to Jennings. “Sh*t be depressing.”
