Man Accused of Violently Raping an 80-Year-Old Woman in Miami (Images: Screenshot/YouTube/Local10)

A rapist is no longer on the loose.
Luis Felipe Gonzalez, 24, was detained by Lee County police on Monday.
On February 27, just before 5 a.m., an assault occurred near Northwest 37th Avenue and First Street in Miami.
According to WSVN , the 80-year-old woman said she was in the area when the perpetrator grabbed her from behind, dragged her behind a building, and sexually assaulted her.
The victim went to a nearby store and dialed 911 after the assault.
Gonzalez is charged with sexual battery, kidnapping, false imprisonment, lewd and lascivious exhibition against a person over the age of 65, and elder or disabled adult abuse.
Gonzalez is currently awaiting extradition to Miami.
