A Washington state prisoner was sentenced to additional 25 years in prison for killing his fellow inmate, a convicted child sex offender who raped his sister.
Shane Goldsby, 26, was punished this week for murdering his 70-year-old cellmate Robert Munger, who was serving a 43-year sentence for his child sex crimes.
He informed the media outlet that his displeasure with having to share a cell with the guy that raped his sister turned into a fury as the child abuser began detailing his crimes in detail.
As per court filings, Goldsby became enraged and struck Munger senseless from behind with punches and kicks, while surveillance cameras filmed the entire incident. Three days later, the victim died.
Munger was convicted of child rape, child molestation, and possession of child pornography in December 2019. Prior charges against Goldsby included stabbing somebody, hijacking a police car, and assaulting a state trooper, according to Fox News.
