The same individual who allegedly rushed Dave Chappelle on stage also got inspiration from the comedian for his own music career, naming a song after him.

Isaiah Lee, the 23-year-old accused of the attack, is a self-described rapper who goes by the moniker NoName Trapper. On Spotify, he has a song titled “Dave Chapelle” from his 2020 album.

The song’s lyrics are perplexing, with the phrase “laugh at you n****s a joke” repeated repeatedly.

Lee also has a sizable social media following, with 32k followers and only 80 followers, one of whom is Dave. He uploaded a bizarre video of himself yesterday, complete with a bloody nose and devil horns, using a filter.

According to TMZ, Lee rushed and tackled Dave while he was performing onstage at The Hollywood Bowl on Tuesday night, reportedly holding a replica gun and knife.

Dave Chapelle was struck hard and fell to the ground, before Dave’s team intervened and delivered a severe beating to the guy.

Jamie Foxx was also involved in the brawl and scored a few blows. Lee was undoubtedly beaten and arrested for felony assault with a deadly weapon. He is currently being held on a $30,000 bond.
