Seven people were injured early Saturday morning in a shooting on Turlock’s South 1st Street.

Turlock police said an officer was patrolling near South 1st and East Main streets around 2 a.m. when he heard numerous gunshots.

Officers responding to the shooting discovered seven people outside a bar with non-life-threatening bullet wounds.

Officers administered first aid to the people who were shot before hauling them to nearby hospitals for care.

Investigators are conducting an investigation and have described the shooter as a heavy-set man between the ages of 25 and 30.

The shooter’s sides were shaved and he wore a short ponytail, according to security footage. According to police, he was dressed in a white sweatshirt and blue jeans.

According to authorities, the shooter fled the scene in a relatively new model Mercedes Benz.

According to detectives, their finding reveals that a fight occurred earlier in the night inside the bar and may have been linked to the shooting.

According to police, the shooter may have been specifically targeting a individual as guests exited the bar and shot into the crowd, striking six other individuals.

According to detectives, the investigation is ongoing.
