8 People Shot After Gunfire Rips Through Brooklyn, NY Party

According to the NYPD, at least eight people were injured when gunshots erupted overnight at a party in Brooklyn around 12 am Monday morning.

The shooting took place outside the Eleanor Roosevelt Houses NYCHA complex in the Bedford-Stuyvesant neighborhood, police say.

150 young people were there for a music video shoot. Two unidentified attackers approached the crowd and opened fire, injuring three male and five female victims, age from 18 to 27 years old.

As of Monday morning, no arrests had been made, although one firearm had been recovered at the crime scene.

The eight people shot were among 16 people injured by gunfire in the city in less than two hours, according to PIX11.
