According to police, a McDonald’s in Vermont had to be evacuated when an employee allegedly tossed live ammo on the restaurant’s grill.

After receiving a complaint of a firearm disturbance at 5 p.m. on Saturday, South Burlington police rushed to the McDonald’s on Shelburne Road.

According to NBC5, authorities discovered that a male employee pulled ammo from a pistol and placed three live bullets onto the grill.

According to the program, the act caused the munitions to detonate.

Officers said that no one was hurt, and that customers and staff were able to escape the McDonald’s.

When police showed up at the McDonald’s, they established a perimeter and began negotiating with the worker who still possessed the pistol and additional ammunition.

Police were able to persuade the guy to leave the weapon in the McDonald’s and step outside, according to NBC5.
