The Philly rapper and now social activist, Meek Mill was honored with the Nelson Mandela Changemaker Award on Thursday at a private gathering.

The award is given by PTTOW! (Plan to Take on the World) — which is described as an invitation-only community for CEOs, chief marketing officers and icons, spanning 70 major industries.

Meek was recognized for his achievements with the REFORM Alliance. He co-chairs the organization alongside Michael Rubin, a Philadelphia 76ers partner, according to Billboard.

On Friday, Meek released a video for his new song “Mandela Freestyle” to commemorate the milestone. You can see the visuals below.
