A Russian pilot and a cadet were allegedly fired after a video of them engaging in sexual activity in the cockpit of an aircraft leaked.
According to the local news website Gazeta, a Cessna 172 aircraft carrying a 28-year-old instructor pilot and an unidentified 21-year-old student took off.
It is believed that the pilot worked at the Sasovo Flight School Of Civil Aviation, located approximately 400 kilometers southeast of Moscow. After offering the cadet extra flight time, he allegedly convinced her to participate in sexual activities.
Initially hesitant due to the instructor’s marital status, the woman reportedly changed her mind after he promised free lessons.
The woman asserted that the couple only kissed and hugged while the autopilot was engaged, and that the event occurred only once.
A cockpit-recorded image was allegedly distributed by a fellow cadet, and the flight school was informed of the scandal one month after it happened.
After it was confirmed that the intense video was filmed during a flight on one of the school’s aircraft, both the pilot and the cadet were expelled from the institution.
However, according to some news sources, the woman had already resigned and gathered her paperwork when she learned that the video had been publicly disclosed.
