A Minnesota judge this week sentenced two men to life in prison for the murder of 28-year-old mother-of-two Monique Baugh, a revered real estate agent who was found shot to death in an alleyway on December 31, 2019.

According to a statement from the Hennepin County Attorney’s Office, Cedric Berry and Berry Davis, both 42, were sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole for Baugh’s first-degree premeditated murder on Monday.

In relation to murder, the two were convicted of kidnapping, for which Berry received 158 months in prison with 557 days credit for time served, and Davis received 161 months in prison with 449 days credit for time served, according to the statement.

The men were also found guilty of attempted second-degree murder for attempting to murder Baugh’s boyfriend, a local rapper known as Momoh, “the same day she was murdered.”

Berry and Davis were sentenced to 240 months in prison, which will run concurrently with their kidnapping sentences.
