Hamilton County Prosecutor Joseph Deters announced Monday that a mother has been indicted for the murder of her 4-year-old daughter. According to Deters, Tianna Robinson, 25, is facing the death penalty for the death of Nahla Miller.
Deters stated that if a child under the age of 13 is purposefully murdered in Ohio, the case is eligible for the death penalty.
“On the April 13 incident, they [Robinson and her boyfriend Resnley Washington] left Nahla at home when they went to Kroger by herself. They came back. She [Nahla] was not toilet trained, had urinated. The mother snaps; attacks Nahla. Hits her, strangles her,” Hamilton County Prosecutor Joseph Deters stated.
Nahla was taken to the hospital and placed on life support until April 21, according to the prosecutor.
According to Deters, the little girl was tormented from head to toe as a result of repeated abuse, strangulation, and malnourishment. She weighed only 23 pounds at four years old.
