The mother of the Texas school shooter who killed 19 children and two teachers stated that her son was not violent.

Adriana Reyes was’surprised’ that Salvador Ramos opened fire at Robb Elementary School in Uvalde yesterday, resulting in a horrific killing spree.

She acknowledged that her son was an introvert who “kept to himself and didn’t have many friends,” but she refuted rumors that their relationship was toxic.

In an exclusive interview with DailyMail.com, she did not address allegations that she was a druggie who saw her son move in with his grandmother, Celia Gonzalez.

Reyes was speaking at the hospital bed sode of Gonzalez, 66, as she continues to recover from being shot in the face by her despicable grandson before he killed 19 children and two teachers during a mass shooting.

Before the devastating attack, he had purchased two AR-15 assault rifles, boasted about them on social networking sites, and hinted that he would commit an atrocious act.
