Naomi Judd Died of Self-Inflicted Gunshot Wound, Ashley Judd Confirms (Image: Screenshot/YouTube/ABC News)

Ashley Judd and her family wanted everyone to know how Naomi Judd died.
The younger Judd appeared on “Good Morning America” on Thursday in an interview with Diane Sawyer. She stated that her family had agreed that she should tell the cause of her mother’s death.
Ashley Judd stated, “She used a weapon.” “A firearm. So that’s the piece of information we are very uncomfortable sharing.”
On April 30, she and her sister Wynonna Judd revealed the death of their mother “to the disease of mental illness.” She was 76 years old.
