Fish Scales, a Nappy Roots rapper, is blessed to be alive after being shot, robbed, and kidnapped outside the Atlanta brewing company he co-owns.
VIDEO
According to police, 2 perpetrators robbed a clientele in the parking lot before breaking into Atlantucky Brewery and pushing Scales into his vehicle at the point of a gun. The perps then proceeded to drive Scales down the road to his residence in a nearby suburb, where he escaped after being shot in the leg during a tussle.
Scales, one-fourth of the Grammy-nominated rap group Nappy Roots, is now in the hospital; the group released a statement saying, “We are so thankful our brother is safe and on the road to recovery.”
Police have been able to retrieve Scales’ vehicle, but no arrests have been made as of yet.
According to the rap group, Scales is eager to get back to work and get back into the studio.
