NBA Players Rudy Gobert and Donovan Mitchell Reportedly Cleared of Coronavirus

Utah Jazz center Rudy Gobert and guard Donovan Mitchell both revealed through social media posts on March 11 that they were positive for the coronavirus. Those two, as well as the rest of the Jazz roster and staff, were cleared Friday by the Utah Health Department, the team said in a statement.

“The UDOH has determined that all Jazz players and staff, including two who tested positive for the novel coronavirus, no longer pose a risk of infection to others,” wrote Aaron Falk on UtahJazz.com.

The Jazz said all players and staff will continue to follow social distancing roles, while restricting time outside their homes to what is considered “essential activities.”
