NY Mother Shot Dead After Confronting Man Who Groped Her On The Street

A Harlem woman known as a ‘wonderful mother’ was tragically gunned down in Manhattan while her fiancé was wounded after the couple confronted a man who had just groped her minutes earlier.

Shadina Smith, 29, had just left her apartment near Frederick Douglass Blvd. at around 12:30 p.m. on the 16th of January, when a man when she was approached by a man who grabbed her.

She went back to her home and informed her fiancé of what had just taken place.

She and her fiancé, 26-year-old Josh Hall, went out and located the man and an argument ensued that quickly led to gunfire.

According to authorities, the couple was shot numerous times in the hallway of their apartment.

Smith was shot 3 times and Hall was shot in his chest and arm.

Smith later died in the Harlem hospital and Hall was later released from the hospital.

Smith leaves behind a 1-year-old son.

The shooter is still on the run.
