A 10-foot-long python shocked the hell out customers in a Sydney grocery store by slithering over a spice shelf, according to a Woolworths spokesperson, who described it as a “slippery and rare customer.”

Woolworths employees “reacted quickly and calmly” to rope off the area for customer safety, according to a spokeswoman for the store.

When Hilary Leigh shared the video of the big snake at the Glenorie supermarket in Sydney’s north-west, she stated in a Facebook post “Only in Australia!”

Leigh just happened to previously volunteer as a snake catcher and was able to fetch the required equipment from her neighboring house in order to securely remove the non-venomous snake. She let it go into the neighboring wilderness, according to The Guardian.
