The NYPD said Tuesday that a widely known Brooklyn pizza joint was the scene of a crazy brawl earlier this month, which left at least two men injured and one man facing charges.
The man arrested in Rockland County told PIX11 that it all started with intoxicated patrons harassing a woman inside the pizza shop and a worker intervening.
The commotion inside the pizza business was captured on cellphone video. A employee can be seen wielding a wooden pizza paddle and then a metal ladle during the brawl.
A 34-year-old employee was hit in the face and sent to a local hospital for treatment, while a 32-year-old guy who was assisting clients was also assaulted and taken to a local hospital. It was unclear whether he was an employee or not.
Erind Prelvukaj, 33, of West Nyack, was detained and charged with assault, according to the NYPD.
