According to Orlando police, a fight between two women ended with a 10-year-old shooting one of the women.
Tuesday, just before midnight, officers reportedly responded to a shooting call at a Mercy Drive residence.
According to investigators, Lashun Rodgers was shot by a 10-year-old girl after a fight between Lashun Rodgers and Lakrisha Isaac. The woman was transported to a hospital, where she passed away.
According to the police, Isaac gave the 10-year-old a bag containing a firearm. The juvenile extracted the gun from the bag and shot it twice, striking Rodgers. Police reported that the other woman and the girl were arrested.
Isaac is charged with negligent homicide, child neglect, contributing to the delinquency of a minor, and aggravated assault with a firearm.
The charges against the 10-year-old have been sent to the Orange Osceola State Attorney’s Office for review. The child was turned over to the DCF.
