The fast-food company was “horrified” after seeing a video of a Popeyes employee attacking a worker while behind restaurant counter, the fast-food chain said on Twitter.

According to WALB, the employee worked as a manager at a Popeyes in Bainbridge, Georgia. According to the outlet, he was later arrested on charges of battery and first-degree cruelty to a child.

According to an arrest report published on Bainbridgega.com, the employee was arrested on May 30.

The man argues with a female coworker who is on her phone in the video. The argument becomes heated, and the man punches the girl in the face. Her phone falls to the floor. 

According to the video, both workers are still arguing, and the teen has one hand raised in the front of her in a defending gesture.

According to joy105.com, many witnesses intercede and move the man into the restaurant’s foyer, away from the 17-year-old female employee.

According to the source, the argument began when the female employee attempted to clock out.
