According to court documents, a former Texas police officer was sentenced to 20 years in prison after confessing to having sex with two teenagers, including a 15-year-old boy she decided to take to a church parking lot.
Delia Ruiz, age 31, was “a police officer with the Friona Police Department” at the time of the wrongdoings, which ended before she could have sex with a third teen she was also shagging with X-rated naked photographs, according to court documents.
According to the documents, she began having sex with the very first boy in November 2020, when he was 16 years old, and continued until the following spring.
The active officer then met the 15-year-old boy at the home of her first victim, primping him with naughty Facebook messages, according to the documents.
She eventually took the younger boy to a church parking lot for sex, where she did admit they would talk openly about his high school status. “This occurred at least three times,” court papers noted.
According to court documents, the officer warned the boy “not to tell anyone about what they did because she could get into ‘big trouble'”
She sent naked pics and videos of herself masturbating to both victims, and also a third boy “beginning when he was 16 or 17 years old,” according to court documents.
“Ruiz explained that she had not had sexual relations with [the third boy] because she had not been given the opportunity,” according to the documents.
In October 2021, she was arrested and subsequently dismissed from the force. In January, she did admit to both enticement and attempted enticement of a minor.
US District Judge Matthew Kacsmaryk handed down the ex-police officer’s 20-year prison sentence last week.
