After being shot while exiting a church in Far Northeast Dallas, a pregnant mother gave birth to a healthy baby boy.

Moni Olajuyigbe is the pastor’s wife of Praise Embassy Church and a qualified nurse. She states she didn’t hear the gunshots after Sunday services but hurried to give aid.

The woman, who was eight months pregnant, was caught in crossfire of a shootout, according to authorities.

The mother, who has two more small children, does not want her identity to be revealed. She did, however, want others to know that she is Alright, as is her baby boy. He weighed 6 pounds 8 ounces and was born through C-section.

According to Moni, police noted that the gunshot that wounded the lady appeared to have impacted the pastor’s car first, absorbing part of the force.

Moni is hoping that both men are viewing and will turn themselves into the authorities.
