Early Tuesday, a clothing exchange at a Michigan gas station turned violent.

A woman was seen on video hitting an individual with her car and crashing into another vehicle outside a Shell gas station. She then exited, snatched a baseball bat, and began swinging.

Someone grabbed a baby from the woman’s car in the midst of the chaos. According to police, the baby was not injured.

According to police, the women knew each other and had an argument, which resulted in what happened.

Det. John Bettendorf of the Van Buren Township Police Department tracked down the woman, who is now facing charges.

Ariyah Bennett faces three felonies – malicious destruction of property and two counts of assault with a dangerous weapon – as well as several misdemeanors. She was released on personal bond and is scheduled to appear in court again next week.
