Prosecutors in New York have filed new charges against disgraced singer R. Kelly on Friday, saying Kelly had unprotected sex with a woman and young girl “knowingly and deliberately,” without telling them he had herpes in 2015 and 2017, according to the WRAP.

According to the indictment, the latest criminal charges brought in New York’s East District refer to “reckless endangerment” and “knowing exposure of infectious venereal disease,”

The indictment did not disclose the young girl’s exact age, known as Jane Doe #5, but prosecutors suggested that she was under the age of 18, and had contracted the venereal disease.

As confirmed by the New York Times, a woman known as Jane Doe #6 first encountered Kelly at a concert when she was 19 in 2017, according to earlier court filings.

She had ended her relationship with Kelly after learning that she had contracted the singer’s “infectious venereal disease,” the file said.
