Remy Ma Under Investigation for Allegedly Assaulting Love & Hip-Hop "Star"

Police are investigating rapper Remy Ma for an alleged assault after a “Love & Hip Hop” star claimed the hip-hop star slugged her during an event at Irving Plaza, police sources told The Post. Brittney Taylor told police that the Bronx rapper, whose real name is Reminisce Smith, punched her in the right eye at about 9:30 p.m.

#PressPlay: #RemyMa is currently under investigation after former #LoveandHipHop cast mate and rapper #BrittneyTaylor accused her of giving her a black eye at a Cancer benefit concert Remy had performed at in NY. According to reports, Taylor alerted the police after the alleged assault and her lawyer says, “She wants Remy Ma prosecuted for what she did to her.” Yikes, Remy, who was just released from prison in May 2014 for shooting a woman she accused of stealing money from her, is still on parole until August of this year.
