The Associated Press reports that “White Boy Rick” Wershe, who spent 30 years in prison for dealing drugs while continuing to work as a confidential informant, filed a lawsuit wanting $100 million on Tuesday, stating his constitutional rights have been violated when he was manipulated into assisting cops as a teenager.

According to the Associated Press, Richard Wershe Jr., 52, of Detroit, filed a federal lawsuit insinuating that his legal problems in the 1980s were caused by pressures to satisfy city cops and Federal agents who used him as an informant and constantly sent him to drug houses.

The city of Detroit, former Detroit police officers, former FBI agents, and former US attorneys are named in the lawsuit.
