A lady died after falling from a rooftop while attending a recklessly overcrowded party in New York, according to officials.

Cameron Perrelli, 24, was at a party on the rooftop of a building on Saturday, May 22 when she reportedly lost her balance and fell off the edge. Perrelli was trying to climb from the roof of 200 Avenue A to the roof of 202 Avenue A when she fell, according to a New York Police Department official.

She was sent to Bellevue Hospital and declared dead there.

Concerns have been expressed by elected authorities regarding the amount of rooftop gatherings reported in New York’s East Village community.

Cameron Perrelli’s death, according to NYC Councilmember Carlina Rivera, is simply the latest incident of far too many individuals congregating on building rooftops, with partygoers frequently spotted leaping from building to building.
