According to his arrest report, a Las Vegas man has been arrested for reportedly murdering a woman’s 15-year-old dog because she did not have evening meal with him.

Jonathan Littleton is charged with animal cruelty after reportedly kicking the woman’s Poodle in her yard because he “was upset with her because she did not have dinner with him,” according to the report.

On June 16, just before 8:30 p.m., the woman called police and reported that her friend “Nathan” had decided to kick and killed her dog.

According to the report, the woman told the police that Littleton became agitated when she refused to talk with him, so he started to shout in the backyard just next to her dog, kicked it once, and then left.

According to the report, the woman ran to her dog and discovered it had died.

When cops came to Littleton’s house the next day, he briefly ignored instructions to come to the door until he was told he had been under arrest, at which point he told officers, “I plead the fifth.”

Littleton was arrested and taken to the Clark County Detention Center on a formal charge of torturing, maiming, or killing an animal for the purpose of threatening or terrorizing.

He was released from custody after posting his $3,000 bond. He was told not to talk to the woman and to remain out of trouble.

On July 19, Littleton is scheduled to return to court for an update.
