Sherri Shepherd Finalizing Deal to Become ‘Permanent Guest Host’ On ‘Wendy Williams Show’

This season of “The Wendy Williams Show” has been a constant rotation of different personalities as the host battles various ailments, and now according to TMZ, a ‘permanent guest host’ is on the way.

TMZ has learned from multiple people with firsthand information, that the beginning in September, Sherri Shepherd will take over as host of the show.

According to our sources, the agreement is practically done, and everyone associated expects it to be finalized soon.

Between now and September, the show’s producers will keep an eye on Wendy’s progression. There is an open door for Wendy to return if she recovers.

If it appears that she will not be able to get back, the show’s name will be changed as early as September, which will be the show’s 15th season.
