A jeweler in Canada asserted that she makes bracelets and necklaces from sperm sent to her by customers for their partners.

Amanda Booth, a clay crafts-woman and jeweler, divulged last month that she began making what she calls “j-zy jewelry” in 2021 after someone made a comment on one of her TikTok videos asking if she ever regarded using “man juice” in her designs, according to VICE.

Booth and her husband began to receive actual queries after making a half-joking Post on facebook about the request.

Booth reveals that hundreds of customers have contacted her since then, requesting special pieces. However, the process is far from pleasant.

“Fresh samples are one thing, but when they’ve been in the mail for a little bit, I mean … it smells like semen, you know what I mean,” said Booth.

“We process them at the end of the day — otherwise, we’re sitting in the smell all day and it’s just … We did it in the morning one day and it was just like, ‘No, I’m never doing that again.’”

Booth’s first video of her making sperm-based jewelry went viral last month, garnering 5.8 million views.

Booth claims that the semen must be properly hydrated and pureed before being added to wearable clay pearls or knick knacks.

She discovered that combining a teaspoon of sperm with the clay polymer resulted in an excellent sculpture.

According to Booth, a lot of her clients’ accessories is kink-related, and items like bracelets and other semen-based objects serve as “collars.”

“After researching further into the J–zy Jewelry shop, we both thought it would be the ultimate ‘you are mine’ type ‘collar’… It would be our little secret and inside joke,” said Booth, who added that she is “loosely part of the BDSM community.”

Despite several people mocking Booth’s business, a 2011 study published in Psychology Today verified that sperm has anti-depressant and stress-relieving properties.
