Cardi B applied for a divorce from Migos rapper Offset, Hollywood Unlocked, TMZ, and The Blast post. Online records in Fulton County, Georgia reveal that Belcalis Marlenis Almanzar (aka Cardi B) and Kiari Kendrell Cephus (aka Offset) are in disputed divorce proceedings.
Today the complaint has been filed (15 September). A hearing is due to take place on November 4, according to Page Six.
Cardi B and Offset were secretly married in September 2017, making the news public with an on-stage proposal later that month. Cardi announced her pregnancy on Saturday Night Live in April 2018. In July 2018, she gave birth to her daughter, Kulture Kiari Cephus.
In December 2018, Cardi B said that she and Offset had broken up. “I’m always going to have a lot of love for him because he’s the father of my daughter,” Cardi said at the time.
Shortly afterwards, Offset disrupted Cardi’s set at Rolling Loud with flowers and begged, “TAKE ME BACK, CARDI.” The two reconciled, with Offset joining Cardi on stage as she accepted her 2019 Grammy Award for Best Rap Album.
