Son Arrested for Allegedly Murdering & Dismembering His 62-Year-Old Mother in California (Image: Ventura County Police Dept/ABC7)

David Hoetzlein, 25, was arrested on Friday and charged with the murder of his mother, Tomoko Hoetzlein. Early Friday morning, Camarillo Police were called to the Las Positas Apartments on Townsite Promenade in Camarillo.
Police discovered the remains of 62-year-old Tomoko Hoetzlein in a dumpster at the apartment building where Tomoko and David Hoetzlein both resided. According to authorities, Tomoko Hoetzlein’s body was dismembered before being thrown away.
Deputies from the Ventura County Sheriff’s Department arrested David Hoetzlein after conducting an investigation and discovering evidence connecting him to the brutal murder.
David Hoetzlein is being held on $3 million bail and is expected to appear in court on June 7.
