When an out-of-control automobile plowed into a Yonkers storefront on Friday, a mother and her baby were gravely injured.

As it slammed inside a now-boarded-up barbershop, the automobile bent metal and damaged glass. Surveillance footage captures the automobile rounding a corner in a chaotic fashion at 9:30 a.m. Friday, then colliding with a parked vehicle and rolling into the path of a mother crossing the street with her infant girl in her arms.

The mother, 36, and her 8-month-old daughter were violently propelled from the street to the shop’s interior when the automobile plowed through the front of John’s Barbershop.

Two police officers were in the bagel shop, Tinajero alleged, and they quickly went over to the barbershop.

The pandemonium and drama within the barbershop, as well as the desperate struggle to rescue the 8-month-old baby crushed underneath the car, were filmed on their body-worn cameras.

The mother’s leg has a compound fracture. Officials said the child’s skull was fractured. Both of them are likely to survive.
