STL Rapper 'Huey' Known For The Hit 'Pop Lock & Drop It' Was Shot And Killed
St. Louis rapper Baby Huey, whose real name is Lawrence Franks Jr., 31, was shot and killed in Kinloch on Thursday night, according to authorities.
He was shot just before midnight on Martin Luther King Boulevard near Maple avenue, according to FOX2.
Baby Huey was signed to Jive Records in the mid 2000’s and is best known for the national hit “pop, lock and drop it”.
Social media post are trending on twitter from fans paying tribute to the late rapper.
At this time there are no further details on the shooting.
