23-Year-Old Man Shot Several Times and Robbed For His Jewelry in Inwood, NYC (Image: Screenshot/CBS)
Another jewelry theft and shooting in Inwood is being investigated by police, this time leaving a 23-year-old male with numerous gunshot wounds, according to ABC7 .
This particular shooting happened on June 11 at 1am. NYPD says 4 people confronted 23-year-old Luis Almonte and tussled with him in an attempt to take his jewelry.
When the victim put up a fight, he was shot multiple times, striking his torso, buttocks, and leg. They reportedly took the victim’s watch and fled in a white Benz.
VIDEO
This particular shooting happened ten days before the more recent robbery & murder, in which a man was tragically shot in the head and another was injured in the groin during a similar heist.
