Megan Thee Stallion confirmed last month that it was Tory Lanez who shot her in both feet. She shared the story live via Instagram, but she did not give a lot of details. The incident took place back in July, and since then, Tory has been quiet.

With a new project titled Daystar, Tory Lanez has returned to see the Canadian artist address the Megan Thee Stallion shooting incident. Tory’s actual name is Daystar Peterson.

Lanez raps “I ain’t do it” on his new album Daystar released today, alleging: “Megan’s] [people trying to frame me for a shooting.” Megan has not responded to the allegation.

He alludes to his private communications with Megan on “Friends Become Strangers” and reacts to her claims about the night of the alleged shooting. He raps, “We both know what happened that night and  what I did.” On “Sorry But I Had To,” he mentions Megan by name and says she should have contacted him directly: “You could’ve asked ‘n—-a what happened, did you do it?’”

Following the incident, Lanez was arrested in July, charged with carrying a concealed weapon and released on bail. In August, the office of the LA County District Attorney said it was reviewing the case for a possible charge of assault, and asked the LA police to further evaluate it.
