Two chidren were found murdered on Saturday morning in a Phoenix apartment. A woman, the mother, stopped a officer and informed him that she was hearing voices telling her to kill her kids, authorities say.
Police found the 9-year-old girl and a 7-year-old boy dead in the apartment with signs of physical trauma.
Yui Inoue, 40, has arrested and charged with two counts of first-degree murder. Police did say they were called to the apartment, early Saturday morning, for a domestic dispute.
The officers who found the dead children were not the same ones who responded to the domestic disturbance call at the apartment shortly after midnight. When officers returned to the apartment to find the children, the father was not there.
