According to witnesses and footage, the flames immediately traveled to other fireworks that were lined up on a nearby sidewalk, igniting the explosive materials.

On Sunday, the incident occurred in Toledo, Ohio. According to witnesses, they were all having a block party with their own, legally acquired fireworks queued up on the street and in the U-Haul when they observed the adolescent go up to the rear of a vehicle and throw his ‘homemade’ explosive inside.

‘It blew the U-Haul up, and from there it caught all of our fireworks that we had stacked up on the curb,’ Tevin Johnson, who was attending the street party, told The Toledo Blade.

Four people were hurt and transported to a hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Police haven’t charged anyone yet, but they’re looking into it.
