Venus Williams On How She Deals With Reporters (Image: Screenshot/YT/)
The Tennis DC II
Venus Williams delivered a straightforward response Tuesday when asked about how she handles the media in the aftermath of Naomi Osaka’s withdrawal from the French Open due to mental health reasons.
Williams , Serena Williams’ older sister who has won a total of six Grand Slam titles, stated she isn’t bothered by pressing reporter’s questions.
“For me personally, how I deal with it was that I know that every single person asking me a question can’t play as well as I can and never will, so no matter what you say, or what you write, you’ll never light a candle to me. That’s how I deal with it. But each person deals with it differently,” Williams said.
