According to the Memphis Police Department, a vicious attack at a Memphis carwash resulted in one woman being hospitalized and another being arrested for attempted murder.

According to police, the attack occurred while a woman was trying to wash her rental car at Buds Carwash on Millbranch Rd on Sunday afternoon.

Monika Blakley, 22, approached the woman as she was washing her car, according to Memphis police.

Despite the fact that the woman had a protection order against Blakley, the 22-year-old attacked her with an unknown sharp object, cutting her 15 times across the face and much more times in the chest and stomach, according to authorities.

According to police, the woman was taken to Regional One Hospital in a non-critical condition.
