On Monday morning, video surfaced showing Joe Schilling viciously knocking out a man in a bar.

After bumping into him at a bar, the former Glory kickboxer and Bellator fighter was captured on tape knocking out a man hard with two punches.

In a short message on Instagram, the 37-year-old middleweight claimed the hits were in “self-defense” after being involved in a “life-threatening” incident with the man. Schilling also included the hashtag “f*ck racists” in his message.

In another post, this time a story on his official page, Schilling claimed he isn’t someone who will attempt to calm people down or de-escalate a situation; “if you think I’m going to be the guy to calm everything down, you got me f*cked up,” Schilling posted. “I’m here for the show.

Schilling, a 10-fight professional mixed martial arts veteran, has a 4-6 record and has competed six times for the Scott Coker-led Bellator MMA banner.
