According to Irving police, a lady was detained Friday night after driving into a liquor store and hitting a person while attempting to hit somebody else with her automobile.

Officers were sent to the Liquor Depot in the 3500 block of North Belt Line Road on a hit-and-run report around 8 p.m.

According to authorities, Annie Williams, 58, was involved in a domestic dispute with a guy and attempted to assault him with her car before driving into the establishment.

She backed up to try to hit him once more, but instead struck a person and four parked vehicles, according to authorities.

She fled but was later apprehended after a short pursuit. The woman that was hit during this crazy scene suffered a broken ankle. The man that Annie was trying to hit with her car, has not been located.

The liquor store reported has over nearly $25,000 in damages. Annie is in the Irving jail and faces charges of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, evading arrest, DWI and criminal mischief.
