Video Shows Attempted Kidnapping of Teen in Brooklyn (Image: Screenshot/YouTube/PIX11)

After an attempted kidnapping in Brooklyn, police are searching for a suspect. It occurred on a Sunday afternoon in the Cypress Hills neighborhood near Pitkin Avenue and Ashford Street.
A man gets out of an SUV and follows a 13-year-old girl with a laundry cart, according to surveillance video.
According to police, the man attempted to snatch her cart and made several attempts to get the teen to accompany him. She resisted and fled.
The man then got back into his car and drove away. According to officials, the girl was able to flee to safety. The encounter left her scared, but she was unharmed physically.
