Tara Jones went to wash her car and then ended up without a car. The woman says she was only at the car wash for 5 minutes, when a thief stole her vehicle.

Surveillance footage shows what transpired at the car wash. As the thief comes up from the rear of the vehicle while Jones is spraying the car down, and hops in the driver seat. She attempted to spray him away but he was too persistent.

The incident happened at Jay’s Car Wash in East Point, Georgia on June 4th. Jones just moved to the area only a few months ago.

She understands that anything can go down, anywhere, stating, “Hey, you have to watch where you at anywhere, don’t matter who it is, so you have to watch wherever you are in Atlanta,” she said. “You have to make sure that you are prepared wherever you go.”

The  2016 Dodge Challenger Scat Pack has not been located but she states it will have front end damage when found.
