Ijeoma Ukenta documented the unusual occurrence in which Abigail Elphick charged at her and then became frantic when she realized she was being filmed.

After learning her disrespectful and aggressive behavior had been captured on tape, a white woman caught on camera hitting a Black woman in a Victoria’s Secret store had a total meltdown.

The firm published a statement on the incident after the viral videos were highly scrutinized, as well as Victoria’s Secret employees who didn’t seem to know what to do in the scenario.

“Associate and Customer safety is our top priority, and we are committed to creating a safe and welcoming environment for all,” they wrote. “The video taken in our store is unsettling and we have initiated a full investigation. Our associates followed our protocols and immediately called our Emergency Operations Center as well as mall security for support during the altercation between our customers.”

“We are dedicated to continuing this critical conversation and demonstrating our commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion through our actions and our words.”
