A Wendy’s employee in Arizona killed a customer after sucker-punching him after he complained about his order.

According to a police press release, the attack occurred on July 26 at nearly 4:41 p.m. at the diner in the 3000 block of Glassford Hill Road in Prescott Valley.

The employee, Antoine Kendrick of Prescott Valley, came from behind the cash register and struck the 67-year-old Dewey elder in the head.

The victim collapsed to the ground, hitting his head again and passing out. Officers and the Central Arizona Fire and Medical Authority responded to assist the customer, who was then airlifted to a Valley hospital.

He was in critical condition until his passing on August 5.

According to ABC15, Kendrick was originally charged with aggravated assault, which has been later updated to second-degree murder after the victim died.
