'When you are wrong...' Pastor Jamal Bryant Apologizes to Kevin Samuels Family for His Comments [Video]
Pastor Jamal Bryant apologized publicly to Kevin Samuels’ family on Instagram.
The apology comes after Bryant received fire for criticizing Samuels for creating a GoFundMe account to pay for his funeral.
Bryant chastised Samuels during his sermon for his contemptuous attitude toward Black Women. He then explained why such a “high valued man” would require a Gofundme.
On Sunday, Pastor Bryant apologized from the pulpit. The apologetic video was also shared on his Instagram account.
Benjamin Franklin once said, “the best way to mess up an apology is to add an excuse.” I extend my deepest condolences and apologies to #kevinsamuels family and friends. Thank you to all who purposed to keep me accountable. We grow from mistakes and birth maturity. Humility will always defeat arrogance . We grow as we go!
