The Sun has exclusively reported that Wendy Williams has retained the attorney of her ex-husband Kevin Hunter to represent her in her legal battle with Wells Fargo bank.

Wendy filed for divorce from her  husband of more than two decades in 2019, following the public revelation that he was expecting a child with another woman.

The Sun can confirm that the law firm representing Wendy in her lawsuit against Wells Fargo is the same one that represents Kevin’s enterprises, which would include Hunter Publishing and his entertainment company, Head Hunter Productions.

Wendy is suing her financial institution to reclaim alleged huge amounts of money in her accounts. Lashan Thomas of Miami Entertainment Law Group is assisting Wendy in her lawsuit.

Wendy’s legal team asserts that her accounts were frozen as a result of the bank’s concerns about the TV host being the victim of “exploitation, dementia, or undue influence.”

Thomas confirmed to The Sun that she is currently serving as general counsel for Kevin’s enterprises, but insisted that the issues she is managing for the exes are entirely unconnected.

Additionally, the Florida attorney stated that she initially represented Wendy Inc, the production company founded by Wendy and Kevin in 2013.

Wendy took possession of Wendy Inc as part of the conditions of her divorce decree, though Lashan claimed she continued working with Wendy following the couple’s divorce.
